Today marks a milestone for us — we officially launched our very first Ramona Ranch Winery blog.
When we planted our first vines all those years ago, we never imagined how much this land would come to shape our lives — or how deeply we would fall in love with the craft of turning grapes into something worth sharing. As first-generation winery founders, we’ve learned everything from the ground up: how to nurture vines through dry summers and rainy winters, how to coax out the best expression of our soils in each vintage, and how to build a small, sustainable business that reflects our values.
My goal with this blog is simple — to capture, tell, and preserve our story: the real, behind-the-scenes journey of growing grapes, making wine, caring for the land, and connecting with all of you who have supported us along the way. It’s about the moments that don’t always make it to social media — the early harvest mornings, the laughter in the tasting room, the rescued barn animals, and the joy of sharing a bottle with friends who’ve become family.
Through this space, we hope to document what it means to be a family-owned, CSWA-certified sustainable winery here in the heart of the Ramona Valley AVA — celebrating not just the wines we make, but the community and landscape that make it all possible.
